I saw Dr. Natalie Curcio in January 2013 to have her evaluate some actinic keratoses on my face as well as seeking general information for good skin care and maintenance for my aging and dry skin. She is a delight to work with. She listened so well and gave me useful information which I has really helped my skin.
To help with the actinic keratoses she had me do a course of topical 5-FU. We discussed various options first as I have had a problem with the strength being too harsh when I tried this treatment 8 years ago. She allowed me several alternative options and then I finally decided on the 5-FU. During the two to three week period which I applied the cream I needed to call her for advice several times. She was very responsive and timely in helping me. The overall result of the treatment was excellent and made a noticeable, positive difference in my skin.
Dr. Curcio is a pleasure to be around. She is positive, upbeat, very thorough and very informed about current research and its application to community dermatology practice. Her explanations and educational information about conditions, side effects, and possible outcomes is thorough and in understandable language. She is missed here and I wish her all the best.
